Alternative Dispute Resolution
Alternative Dispute Resolution (“ADR”) is a means for parties to resolve their differences short of litigation. This can take the form of non-binding mediation or binding arbitration. Either form of ADR may fall within a range from informal to formal frameworks. Our firm has experience in handling matters throughout the range of ADR from informal mediation to formal arbitration, including the ability to guide clients through the process of preparing for mediation and arbitration, discovery procedures in the area of ADR and attending the actual mediation session or arbitration hearing. In addition, we have members of the firm who are certified mediators who have experience in conducting mediations and serving as arbitrators.
